Living Spherically

Choosing the less comforting, wilder alternative never appears promising… initially.

Being forced in—more like shoved in—with tears pouring like waterfalls,
a heart shattering as if it were a broken bone,
gifting to me the sting of repair and obvious scarring.

Later rather than sooner I began to compare these aching fractures to a metamorphosis.
Spreading her wings for the first time she was tattooed;
labeled with the motto, “Live spherically.”

Stolen from a chick flick fit for Italian backdrops, this motto will suffice...

and with a little bit of this and that A Whole New World was exposed.

The surface area of a sphere
is a love song from the center of the Earth.

Our planet isn't a perfect sphere though-
our approximation gives 510 million square kilometers
of water and land to explore.

My insecurities fade away as
truth is revealed through spherical living.

The answers lie within the sphere of my soul.

Healing is found in a plethora of interests,

and variety is one of my favorite things!
My wings are strong and I will soar high and enjoy.
